1.    Only print what is necessary.
Before printing any particular selection of a text, evaluate its significance and need so you spend no effort printing things that may be of no useful.  Basically, only laser print what is absolutely necessary to save the amount of inkjet printer ink cartridges and recycled paper being used.  The less color ink that is utilized for each print job, the better the laser printer cartridges last.
Furthermore, things which may be backed up on disks, instead of laser printing, needs to be saved.  Make the most of CDs or external hard drives to back up the documents and records in lieu of printing them out. Spreadsheets and emails by and large should not be laser printed unless you truly need them. 2. You should laser print text and not graphics.

3. Make the most of the “Print Preview” option.
Print Preview is a very valuable function that gives a snap shot of how the finished article should look once laser printed.  “Print Preview” can assist you maneuver words, numbers, and spaces and settle on what pages or selections have to be laser printed.  Think about turning off your color ink printer cartridges, chosing just the pages you will need hard copies of, and the text that is absolutely necessary - in particular the final page with the footer which you receive with each laser print job.  This significantly will reduce the amount of color ink used, plus the quantity of paper used.

4. Print text only with the black ink laser printer cartridges (disable the color cartridge).
Print text documents which are just white and black and no color ink with only the black ink laser printer cartridges.  Always chose white and black laser printing as a substitute of color printing if doable.  It probably will depend on the style of printer you have however there could be the capacity to choose grayscale printing by using just the black ink cartridge.  Grayscale is a lower quality, but again, you can adjust it for the ultimate document.  If you want to laser print black words with color ink laser printer cartridges, quite a lot of colors are mixed and manipulated to produce black ink.  This might use up the color ink cartridge much more quickly than it might deplete the black ink cartridge.  If you are not laser printing quality work for a proposal or if you’re laser printing text only, there is a good likelihood you should not desire or need the other colors.
